company commander in late 1968 to spring 1969.

Col. Retired A. John Miller of Ozark passed away
Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at Flowers Hospital in
Dothan. He was 70. A memorial service will be held
at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, from the Fort
Rucker Aviation Museum. Interment will follow at 3
p.m. EST in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with
full military honors. Mrs. Miller and her sons
will receive friends at her home from 6 to 8 p.m.
upon returning from the cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests that contributions be
made to the Multiple Myeloma Research
Foundation, 3 Front St., New Canaan, CT 06840 or
to your favorite charities. Funeral arrangements
are incomplete at this time and will be announced
later by Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark,
(334) 774-4551.
