More detail on this person: Miller, James L. Captain, ORWAC 69-32. RVN August 1970- August 1971. Awards include; the DFC, twenty-six AMs which included two AMs with V device, BSM, ACM, VCM and VSM with two service stars. Jim was a cobra pilot in B Troop 2/17th Air Cavalry, 101st Airborne Division (AMBL) and his call sign was Banshee 26. Jim flew almost exclusively in the A shau valley covering the scouts. Jim made his final flight unexpectedly on 25 March 2023. At that time, he was living his dream on the island of St. Kitts. Born 7/31/46 in Cleveland Ohio Jim attended both Kent State and Ohio State before entering the Army. Jim served a tour in Germany before attending flight school. When his military obligation was over, he worked for several international companies rising to the position of senior VP before starting his own company "Raven Ltd.". Jim was always the life of the party and his presence will sadly be missed at our Banshee and VHPA annual reunions.
