More detail on this person: John Moore was born in Ducktown, TN, on February 10, 1942. He fought a long and valiant battle with pancreatic and stomach cancer, passing away on May 30, 2020. He was a graduate of Cal Poly in CA. Following his military service, he worked for a commercial helicopter operation in Alaska where he met his wife Patti, a Forest Service agent. They moved to Long Beach and Catalina Island, CA and formed Island Express Helicopter Service which they later sold and retired. He is survived by his wife Patti.
