More detail on this person: Tony Ward Miller Tony Ward Miller, 54 of Springfield, died Jan. 13, 2003, at his residence following a long illness. Mr. Miller was born Nov. 8, 1948, in Dexter, MO to Harold and Delores Miller. They both preceded him in death. He was a decorated Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam where he served two terms. He received the Army Aviator Badge, two Bronze Stars, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal with V-Device and numeral 3 and the Distinguished Flying Cross with three Oak Leaf Clusters. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Jane Rosendahl of Springfield, MO; and Michelle Renee Miller of Boynton Beach, FL; three grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Miller of St. Louis, MO; and Danny Miller of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandmother, Naomi Miller of Dexter, MO. A memorial graveside service with military rites by the Veterans' Memorial Team is Tuesday at Missouri Veterans' Cemetery. Klingner Mortuary of Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
