More detail on this person: Rod was born on January 21,1947, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He married Diane Martin McClellan on 6/20/1967 and have 3 sons, Chris, Nick and David as well as 2 grandchildren, Brittany and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Caul and Ruby McClellan and his 2 brothers - Paul and Burl. Rod was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam flying the Cobra gunship. He was awarded many medals including the Purple Heart! He was hit by gunfire his first flight in country and his first crash 3 months later. He had so many stories to tell! Rod was cremated the memorial service that was schedule has been cancel due to weather. Please check back for an update for a memorial service.
