More detail on this person: Gerald Edwin Masterson, 77, passed away on May 10th, 2018, with his wife, Barbara Louise Masterson, by his side, in Roseville, California. He was born on March 3rd, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late H Edwin and late Jean Masterson. He was the oldest of six siblings. He graduated from Xavier University in 1964, completing the ROTC Program, and Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the summer of 1964. He, then, attended Flight Training, to become a helicopter pilot. Upon completion Jerry was deployed to Vietnam, in May 1965-1966. Upon retiring as a CFO within the Silicon Valley in 2009, Jerry volunteered his time with Yu-Ai Kai, Japanese American Community Senior Services, in San Jose, CA, as a board member. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Masterson, Daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Augie Sanchez, son Ken Masterson, Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Kayla Henry, Rosser Henry and Brittany Snowden, & Aidan Sanchez.
