More detail on this person: Arthur L. McBride Jr. of Gulf Breeze, FL., passed this life on January 14, 2019. He was born May 18, 1947 in Savannah, GA where he also was raised. He was the son of Arthur L. McBride Sr. and Maxine West McBride. Arthur (Art) McBride served proudly in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Korea. He was awarded the distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star medal, the Dir Medal, 3 oak leaf clusters, Good Conduct medal, National Defense service medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary medal, Vietnam service medal, Republic Campaign medal, Army Aviator badge, E.I.B. medal and Marksmanship medal. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Wanda Gray and Toby McBride. Surviving loved ones are his loving wife, Christine E. McBride, son, Arthur Leonard (Len) McBride III, stepson Clint Edenfield, sister, Dana Rusden, Grandchildren: Addison Edenfield, Payton Edenfield, Sterling Casperson, Tristan McBride, Tyler McBride, Ashlyn Patrick. Step grandchildren Jennifer Hamlin and Andrew Patrick. Arthur was loved by many friends and family and served his country with pride. He will be missed dearly. His memorial service will be announced at a later date.
