More detail on this person: Bobby "Bob" D. May, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was a member of First Baptist Concord Church. He served his country in four branches of the Military before retiring as a Major from the Army as an Aviator. He defended our country twice in Vietnam throughout his career. He loved the Lord, his family and especially loved children. He was preceded in death by Dailey A. May, Dorothy L. May, and Joseph A. May. He is survived by Dailey A. May, Jr., Cynthia May, Deborah (Bill) Kindy, Bobby (Lisa) May, Jr., and Krista (Brian) Evans, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Remembrance will be held Friday, October 23, 2020, 9:30am at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governors John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920. Military Honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
