More detail on this person: Mosher, David Lee 83, of Peoria, AZ passed away on 5/13/2013. Retired LTC US Army, he served 21 years retiring in 1974. His duty included one tour in Korea (1955) and two tours in Vietnam (1966, 1970). He was a Master Aviator and a Commanding Officer of the 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion of the 1st Cav Division. His career also included being assigned Aide de Camp for General Paul Freeman. He was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Master Aviator Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Legion of Merit. Born and raised in South Sioux City, NE, he was a graduate of The University of Nebraska (1952) and later received his Master's degree (from all places) The University of Oklahoma. Following his military career he enjoyed positions in healthcare, city management, and as a business owner before retiring again in Peoria, AZ. He was predeceased by two lovely wives, Darlene Cloud Mosher died Dec 1982, and Eunice Falconer Mosher died Dec 2012. He is survived by his two sons, David Mosher, NYC and Dennis Mosher Phoenix, AZ. Also Grandfather to Wesley, Whitney, Kellyn, Adrianna, Payson, and Austin and great grandfather to six. David will have a full Military Honors ceremony on Friday June 7th at 11am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, any and all are welcome. With a small gathering after at Dennis' home.
