More detail on this person: I am doing a squadron member database for my squadron HMM-363 (The Vietnam Years/All years) and had contact today with the widow of one of the squadron's CO's.

Col. James D. McGough passed away July 29, 1982 from Cancer. He was CO for several months of 1966 through October 5, 1966.

He was admired by all his men.
