Ruben was born March 18, 1941 in the Bronx, NY to the late Modesto and Carmen Munoz. He is survived by his wife Robin L. Munoz of Purcellville, VA; son Ruben J. Munoz, II of Centreville, VA; daughter Rena Jean Cerreta of Bristow, VA; sisters Anna Perez Munoz of the Bronx, NY and Elaine Munoz Perez also of the Bronx, and six grandsons. The family will receive friends on Monday July 20 from 1 to 2p.m. at Hall Funeral Home of Purcellville, VA. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. following the visitation. Reception to follow at the Munoz residence: 37760 Sutton Drive, Purcellville, VA 20132. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to INOVA Health System Foundation (Loudoun), Attn: Gift Administration, 8110 Gatehouse Road, Suite 200 East, Falls Church, VA 22042. The family requests that the donation be designated to the Stroke and Neuroscience Services.
