More detail on this person: My husband Charles Manning was in class ORWAC 65-22 at Fort
Rucker, Al. He was also at Fort Wolters in June of 1965. The numbers on his Record of Assignments
is- ORWAC 1-H-1981B. He also has typed Student Officer. The class information of Chuck's was on
his Record of Asignments that was done in June of 1974.Chuck was with Troop C 1st Squadron 9th
Cavalry, 1st Cavalry Div. (AM) from April 1966 until April 1967. His main station was An Khe but was
first in infantry and then he was in the air. He flew Huey's. He was in Germany from April 1967
until Jan. 1969. Then he went to Vietnam again in March of 1969 but was wounded on June 19, 1969
near Camp Evans and sent home after going to Japan for recovery. At that time he was with HHC
158Avn Bn (AH) 101 Abn Div( AML) USARPAC. He was never at Fort Campbell though but at Fort
Benning. Chuck and I were both from Northern New York. I don't know why I am so curious about
these things but I loved him with all my heart and I'm trying to fill in the pieces. We were friends
all of our lives but only married in July of 2002. Too short. I am looking for anyone who might
have known him or pictures of those classes as he passed away from cancer November 8, 2004. He
retired from the military as a Major on April 30, 1981. Burial information: Arlington National Cemetary, Arlington, VA

He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetary on June 22nd at 11AM. It's taken me awhile but this
was his wish. It's still hard to do.
Thank you for any help you can give to me.
