More detail on this person: Kenneth Laurence "Larry" Morrison ELLENBORO, W.Va. - Kenneth Laurence "Larry" Morrison, 60, of 1 Way Station Rd., Ellenboro, and formerly of Sharpsburg, Md., and Cumberland, Md., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, W.Va. He was born June 16, 1948 in Hagerstown, Md., to Alma Louise Breeden Morrison of Sharpsburg and the late George Morrison Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was employed by the Division of Correction of Maryland as a correction officer at Brockbridge Correction, Jessup, Md., until retiring in 1993. He was the owner of the Whip-Poor-Will Farm, Ellenboro. He was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shaprsburg. He was also a member of Westminster Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1381, Westminster, Farm Bureau of Maryland and West Virginia, lifetime member of North American Fishing Club Worldwide and lifetime member of North American Hunting Club Worldwide. He was also formerly a member of Dargan Ruritan. He was a very active hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Lumm Morrison, married April 28, 1967; sons, Byron N. Morrison of Ellenboro and Jason C. Morrison of Hagerstown; brothers, George W. Morrison Jr. and Glenn W. Morrison, both of Sharpsburg; and a niece, Shelley L. Morrison Mohamed, of Hagerstown. He was predeceased by three sisters, Debra A. Morrison, Connie L. Morrison and Jeanne Morrison. The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 1 p.m. on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard G. Hembrock officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. Military graveside services will be provided by Morris Frost Post 42 American Legion, Hagerstown.
