More detail on this person: JAMES C. MANN III July 2, 1944 - July 22, 2010 LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. - James C. Mann III, 66, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died July 22, 2010, at Naples Community Hospital, in Naples, Fla. A funeral service was held Aug. 3, 2010, at Fuller Funeral Home in Naples. Interment with honors followed at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Fla. Mr. Mann was born July 2, 1944, to James C. Mann Jr. and Florence (Oats) Mann, in Le Compte, La. He was raised in Mt. Vernon, where he graduated from high school in 1962. He was a captain in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam. He was an alumnus of the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., and lived in Washington, D.C. In 1990 he moved to Florida, where he was employed with Ajax Paving in Ft. Myers. Survivors include his wife, Rosalina, son, James C. Mann IV, and stepdaughter, Giselle, all of Lehigh Acres; stepdaughter, Janaina, of Naples; grandchildren, Isabelle and Isaiah; and his brother, Robert Mann of Boise, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be nade to the NCH Foundation, 4th Floor Oncology Dept., 350 7th Street N., Naples, FL 34102. Condolences may also be directed to Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd., Naples, FL
