Marks, 61, a resident of Scottsdale, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, May 12, 2010, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Youngstown, Ohio, shortly after arrival. He was born Feb. 10, 1949, in Leechburg, a son of the late John W. Sr. and Virginia P. (Kepple) Marks. He graduated from Kiski Area High School, class of 1967. David was a professional over the road truck driver for Allegheny Plant of West Elizabeth with 35 years of service. He was a proud veteran of the Army, servicing one tour of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He was a member of Marion Lodge No. 562 Free and Accepted Masons, The Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh and also the Syria Shrine of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Virginia Pauline Kepple Marks, Sr. He leaves his wife, Fran.
