More detail on this person: Donald Nelson Martelle Sr. Article Archive Times Record (Fort Smith, AR) - Wednesday, June 19, 2002 Donald Martelle Sr. MULDROW - Donald Nelson Martelle Sr., 62, of Muldrow died Monday, June 17, 2002, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and received the Bronze and Silver Star, was a self-employed carpenter. Funeral will be 9 a.m. Friday at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. He is survived by his wife, Zella; three daughters, Shannon Jarvis of Muldrow, Janice Martelle of Rutland, Vt., and JoAnn Martelle of New Hampshire; five sons, Michael Jarvis, James and Ricky Martelle, all of Muldrow, Craig Martelle of Louisiana and Donald Nelson Martelle Jr. of Texas; and several grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John, Eugene and William Robertson, Allen Holson, Rodney Reeves and Stan Cottrell.
