More detail on this person: Paul T. Michal Paul T. Michal Paul T. Michal, 68, who retired as director of recycling for Florida State University, died Monday, March 6, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sara D. Michal. The service will be at 10 a.m. EST Thursday at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. EST today at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Timberlane Road Chapel (850- 893-4177). Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Paul was a native of Chicago and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army. Other survivors include three daughters, Sharon Smith (and husband Kevin) of Crawfordville and Sandra Pitts (and husband Geoff) and Susan Glass (and husband Derek), both of Tallahassee; a son, Jon Michal (and wife Julie) of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Teresa Platz (and husband Bill) of Lawrence, Kan.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joanne, and two sons, Greg and Steven.
