Pat was born on October 7, 1944 in Detroit, MI,the son of Norman and Ellen (Quigley) Monks. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On August 11, 1967 he married his loving wife, of 40 years, Dianne. Captain Pat was a helicopter pilot and traffic reporter for WWJ News Radio 950 for several years prior to owning and operating Hamburg Lawn & Marine and The Portage Marine. He was a member of the V.F.W. Spirit of Detroit Assoc., Michigan Emergency Patrol and Channel 56 Auctioneer. His Family_ Loving husband of Dianne, beloved father of Michelle Monks of Pinckney, MI and Tricia Mollard of Hartland, MI; and Grandpa of five. His brothers, Norman and Thomas preceded him in death.
