More detail on this person: Mr David Leon Martin, 65 Obituaries Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - Wednesday, November 6, 2002 HOPE MILLS -- David Leon Martin, 65, of Hope Mills, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in Reeves Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. Jim Barbour. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Norma A. Martin; a son, Michael Martin of Fayetteville; a daughter, Lori Bergstrom of Inola, Okla.; two brothers, George Martin and Gary Martin, both of Odessa, Texas; and three sisters, Johnnye Davis of Odessa, Barbara O'Briant of Fayetteville and Susan Martin of Raleigh. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Friends of the Heart Center, care of Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation, P.O. Box 2000, Fayetteville, NC 28302.
