''Mac'' McCloskey, 53, Olathe, KS, beloved husband and father, died Christmas Eve, 1999, at home. A memorial Mass will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church; burial will be a private family gathering at the Leavenworth National Cemetery on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Kansas City Hospice, Cancer Action, Inc., or the church. Mr. McCloskey was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He was Assistant Operations Manager for McCormack-Payton Storage and Moving Company in Grandview. He was an Army veteran of 20 years when he retired as Major in January 1986. His time served consisted as an Aviation Logistics Officer and Transportation Management Officer. He served through the transportation and aviation field in Ethiopia and in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive where he was awarded the Bronze Star and Air Medal (2D) award. He was fixed wing as well as rotary wing qualified. Survivors include his wife, Vicki L. McCloskey, of the home; two sons, Michael P. McCloskey, Chicago, IL, and Shaun McCloskey, St. Louis, MO; one daughter, Kerry A. McCloskey, of the home; one sister, Genevieve Ramey, Livingston, TX; and two granddaughters.
