More detail on this person: Mike was a classmate of mine in class 71-26. As an MI officer, he went directly to fixed wing school and OV-1 transition. I think he ended up in Danang in mid-1972. I am not sure if he ever flew anything in Vietnam. He went on to command a OV-1 company in Alaska and my friend Mike, died in a OV-1 accident in Alaska on 29 July 1978.
