More detail on this person: Robert Wayne McInnis Sr. Robert Wayne McInnis Sr. Press-Register (Mobile, AL) - Monday, June 13, 2005 AL United States Robert Wayne McInnis, Sr. -- a native and lifelong resident of Jackson, Alabama died June 11, 2005 in a Birmingham, AL hospital. He was 64 years old. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and attended Livingston University where he played football. He was a member of the National Guard and the United States Army. He served two tours in Vietnam as a Chinook helicopter pilot. He retired as a Captain. He received the Broken Wing Award for his service. He and his wife, Jean Parten McInnis owned two businesses, Floral Creations and Jackson Marine. He retired from Alabama River Pulp as Assistant Pulp Mill Superintendent. Mr. McInnis was preceded in death by his son, Robert W. McInnis, Jr.; his mother Rosa Lee Boling McInnis; his father, Edgar Huel McInnis; and his brother, William White McInnis. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jean Parten McInnis of Jackson, AL; his daughter, Anne-Ellen McInnis Waller of Mobile, AL; his grandson, Charles Lee Waller, V known as 'Mac' of Mobile, AL; and a son-in-law, Charles Lee Waller, IV, of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Rosalyn McInnis Patton of Grove Hill, AL; Patsy McInnis McLendon of Miller's Ferry, AL; and two brothers, Hugh McInnis of Escatwapa, MS and Harold McInnis of Mobile, AL. Visitation will be at the family residence on Monday, June 13, 2005 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Trinity Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m.
