Today I received a packet addressed to my dad from your organization. He would have loved this piece of mail. Unfortunately he passed away on Feb. 9, 2015.

In his final days we heard more stories about helicopters and Viet Nam, than he had ever told. It was an exciting time in his life. He spoke both of fear, enthusiasm, comradery and pride. He was honored to have served and lead.

I am so sorry this arrived too late for him. It would have brought him such joy to be able to remember with some fellow helicopter pilots.
