More detail on this person: Minh Quang Lemau, 76, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Arlington, Virginia. He was born and raised in central Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, he supported the South Vietnamese and American forces as a helicopter pilot. He was among the brave soldiers making trips from the roof of the US embassy to an aircraft carrier, ferrying evacuees to safety during the fall of Saigon. His dedicated service, positive outlook, and constant good cheer carried over to his new life in the United States. For more than 40 years, he worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), which he considered his second family and where he developed long-lasting friendships. Minh is survived by his wife, four children, two dogs, and countless extended family members. All held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly. At his request, there will be an intimate service for immediate family members. People wishing to honor his lifelong commitment to family and community may make donations to CSIS or the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. Published by Everly Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Falls Church from Nov. 9 to Nov. 10, 2021.
