Moulden Jr., U.S. Army, retired, 79, Lawrence, Kan., formerly of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Presbyterian, Manor, Good Samaritan Fund, 1429 Kasold Drive, Lawrence, Kan. 66049 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Mid-American Chapter, 5442 Martway, Mission, Kan. 66205, or to the charity of the donor's choice. The Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan., is in charge of arrangements. Lt. Col. Moulden died Monday, May 14, 2001, at the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor. He was born July 11, 1921, in KCK. He was a World War II Navy pilot/instructor. He owned the Moulden Painting Co. He had been a flight activity commander for 20 years with the Kansas Army National Guard, and he served with the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was a past commander of the American Legion Post No. 83, past member of Wyandotte Masonic Lodge No. 3, the Abdallah Shrine, and a life member of the National Guard Association. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lawrence, Kan. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy A. Moulden, of the home; one son, Charles Tom Moulden, Grand Junction, Colo.; three daughters, Charlene Biles, Bonner Springs, Kan., Jamey Wills, Shawnee, Kan., and Debbie West, Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Rita Jo Glattis, Overland Park; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
