More detail on this person: Darrell Edward Maitlen, 52 OBITUARIES Rocky Mountain News (CO) - Sunday, September 22, 1996 DARRELL EDWARD MAITLEN, 52, of Denver died Sept. 13. Funeral services were Sept. 16. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church, 10150 E. Belleview Ave., Englewood. Mr. Maitlen was born in Cushing, Okla., on Oct. 8, 1943. He served in the Army as a test pilot in South Vietnam, earning the Meritorious Service Award. Mr. Maitlen was a helicopter salesman and pilot. Survivors include wife Dorothy of Denver; son Gregory of Denver; daughter Katherine of Denver; brothers Gene and Johnny, both of Cushing; sister Bonnie Pope of Bartlesville, Okla.; sister Ruthelma Holmes of Cushing.
