More detail on this person: BG MESZAR, FRANK died in January 2002 at age 86. He built a flight training school at Ft Stewart and Hunter AAF, GA during the Vietnam era. His son, CPT Frank Meszar III was killed in Vietnam (not a pilot). Meszar served at Ft Stewart and Hunter from March 1967 to June 1969 as commander of the U. S. Army Flight Training Center. He was also deputy commander of the U.S. Armyu Aviation Training School at Ft Rucker, AL during that time. He was buried at Arlington National Cemetery next to his son.
