Obituary: William Chambers Mackey, III, age 73 of
Hollywood, FL, passed away November 17, 2016. A
U.S. Navy Veteran serving his country from
1965-1992 including as a helicopter pilot in the
Vietnam War and then retiring as a Captain.
Predeceased by his brother Larry. Survived by
daughter Bonnie Mackey Chabra and her husband
Roy; grandchildren Tynan, Cade, Lila;
sister-in-law Bonnie Mackey; nephew Christopher
and niece Michele. Services and inurnment with
Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery are
pending at this time. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made in his name to the Navy
Marine Corps Relief Society (nmcrs.org) at 875 N.
Randolph St, Suite225, Arlington, VA 22203.
