More detail on this person: Hi Mike, First of all, David was my husband for over 20 years. We first met when I was 21 and he was 24. There never was a formal obit. He was born 02/05/1947. His date of death was 12/03/2020. It has taken this long to get a date for him at Arlington. He retired from the Army and the Alaska Army National Guard after a total of 29 years of service. He has over 30 medals including 4 purple hearts, distinguished flying cross, silver star, etc. I will attach some photos for you. I am having the entire funeral video recorded so if you would like to see it, I can e-mail you a copy when it's ready late next month. Thank you for mentioning David in your article. I would like to receive a copy of it, if possible. Sincerely, Carol Newkirk
