More detail on this person: James Alexander Niemi passed away July 6, 2018 after a long battle with metastatic prostate cancer. Jim was born 6/30/42 in Duluth MN. He was an Army veteran who had two tours in Vietnam that included flying Hueys, Cobras and Bird Dogs. After his military service (including the FL Army Air National Guard) he was a CPA for many years. Jim is survived by his second wife, Vicki Decker, sons Col. Christopher J. Niemi, USAF (wife Janice), Eric M. Niemi (wife Michelle), grandchildren: Lauren, John, Nicolas and Max, brother Forrest W. Niemi, and first wife and friend Jean Fox.
