More detail on this person: Michael R Nice Michael R. Nice Gazette, The (Colorado Springs, CO) - Thursday, September 15, 2011 1949-2011 After a brief battle with cancer, Michael R. Nice, born on October 5, 1949 went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2011. Mike graduated from Wasson High School in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. He was a medivac pilot in the Viet Nam War. He was preceded in Heaven by his father, Ralph Nice in 2007. Mike is survived and will be deeply missed by his son Sam and 3 grandchildren, his mother Madge Saleny and his 4 siblings - Linda Geist, Sharon Laird, Karen Nice, Steve Nice and many friends. A Celebration of his life service will be held on September 20, 2011 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Mortuary 2350 Montebello Sq Dr. Donations may be made to any Cancer Research in Mike's memory.
