More detail on this person: Colonel Robert L Neff USMC (Retired), 59 OBITUARIES Daily Press (Newport News, VA) - Sunday, May 19, 1996 WAKE - Col. Robert L. Neff, USMC (Ret.), 59, of Wake, Va., died Thursday, May 16, 1996. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Jackopin Neff; and two children, Kevin Neff of Virginia Beach and Tania Neff of Springfield, Mass. Col. Neff, a retired naval aviator and a Vietnam veteran, was a graduate of Ohio State University (OSU), Auburn University and the class of 1954 of Belmont High School in Ohio. His military decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, Legion of Merit, Defense Service, Joint Service and Air Medals. He was an alumnus of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and a member of the Retired Officers Association, the Marine Corps Aviation Association and the American Highland Cattle Association. His remains rest at the Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home in Saluda, Va., where the family will receive friends between 7 and 8 p.m. on Monday, May 20. Interment, with full military honors, will be held at the Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Va., on Tuesday, May 21, at 2 p.m.
