USMC, RET. age 58, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, son, son-in-law, uncle and friend to many, passed away at home surrounded by his wife and 2 daughters on June 8, 2005. He is the son of Carl E. North, Jr. and the late Ruby North. He is husband to Bonnie North, father to Carrie North and Joy North Amaro, father-in-law to Dustin Hafer and Zane Amaro, grandfather to Noah Hafer and Molly Amaro, brother to Terry North, James North and Connie Kisner, brother-in-law to Erik Hansen, Sheila North, Mary North and Mark Kisner, uncle to 4 nieces and 5 nephes and son-in-law to Bjarne K. and Maisie L. Hansen. Colonel North honorably served our country for 32 years as a proud United States Marine. During his distinguished career, Colonel North traveled throughout the world and fought in both Vietnam and Desert Storm, piloting Huey's and CH-46 helicopters. He was awarded many decorations, medals, ribbons and badges for his exemplary career. Memorial Services held at Riverside National Cemetery with military honors. Burial at Sea by Marine Corps Helicopter Squadron 166 off the coast of San Diego, CA.
