More detail on this person: ROBERT G. NOWADNICK OBITUARIES Daily Press (Newport News, VA) - Sunday, January 14, 1996 NEWPORT NEWS - CW4 (Ret) Robert G. Nowadnick, 49, departed this life Jan. 11,1996. Those who are left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice B. Nowadnick; his son, William E. Nowadnick; his daughter, Elizabeth N. Friant; his father, William R. Nowadnick; his sister, Ann Murray of Okinawa, Japan; his uncle, Richard Nowadnick of Mt. Vernon, Wash.; and his grandmother, Hermine Nowadnick of Mt. Vernon, Wash. He served in the United States Army for 25 years as an aviator. He was a decorated soldier of the Vietnam War and Grenada Conflict. The service will be conducted by Pastor Dennis Buchholz on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1996, at 2 p.m. at the Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Portsmouth. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
