More detail on this person: Donald John Nepereny Anchorage Daily News May 25, 1991 Donald John Nepereny, 44, died May 21 in a helicopter accident at Dogfish Bay near Homer. A funeral was held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Collins, Colo., where he was a member. Burial followed in Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Nepereny was born Aug. 13, 1946, in Hinsdale, Ill. He graduated from Hinsdale High School in 1964 and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam as a warrant officer. He moved to Fort Collins in 1980. He worked as a helicopter pilot and was a pilot for Flight for Life. He also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Brenda Rickmon Nepereny, his daughters, Amie, Carie, and Malissa, of Fort Collins, Tracy of Illinois, and Donna of South Carolina; his son, Scott of Springfield, Ill.; his mother, Anna of Illinois; and his sister, Nancy Thompson of Illinois. Memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church Sky Ranch Fund, c|o Reager Funeral Home, 1530 Riverside, Fort Collins, Colo. 80524. Local arrangements were by Evergreen Memorial Chapel West.
