More detail on this person: Richard Stanley Ozgowicz, 72, died after a long battle with Parkinson's disease on July 21, 2017 in Tallahassee, FL. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ozgowicz of Tallahassee, FL; son, Brian Ozgowicz of Dothan, AL; two grandsons; sister, Karen Siderakis of Gig Harbor, WA; sister, Wendy McIver of Vero Beach, FL and sister, Denise Driscoll of Vero Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by father, Stanley Ozgowicz and sister, Linda Feldhaus. Richard graduated from Vero Beach High School and served in the Army as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam. After the Army, he was employed as an air traffic controller until retirement. Services were in Tallahassee, FL on July 25, 2017.
