More detail on this person: Nat Peter Ozmon, Jr., age 72, of Columbus, NC, died Tuesday, August 22, 2020. Born in New York City, NY; son of the late Nat Peter Ozmon, Sr. and Marilyn Peterschmidt Kuchis; husband of 38 years to his loving wife, Beverly Ozmon. Served his country in Vietnam as a warrant officer and flew Huey helicopters from October 1970 to October 1971; assigned to the 162 Assault Helicopter Company and was awarded the Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. An avid sailor for many years, and with his wife Beverly loved sailing on Lake Mendota in Madison, WI, and then on Lake Michigan, sailing out of Racine, WI; and they enjoyed retirement in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Other survivors include his daughter, Justin Martin; brothers, Laird Ozmon, Kelle Ozmon, and Andrew Kuchis; and sisters, Lorna Ozmon, Dona Kastanek, and Kathy Meinert.
