More detail on this person: Terry O'Rear of Vancouver, WA, passed away April 23, 2014 at the age of 61. He was born June 23, 1952 to Norris and Margie O'Rear in Hillsboro, OR and graduated from Forest Grove High School in 1970.

Terry joined the U.S. Army and became a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. He was honorably discharged in 1973.

He retired from Electro Heavy Equipment where he worked as shop foreman.

Terry belonged to the Columbia Drag Boat Association.

He loved going to the drag boat races with his son, Chris and caring for his roses.

Terry is survived by his partner, Eileen Baker; mother, Margie O'Rear; children, Melissa Tofell and Chris O'Rear; brother, Michael O'Rear; sister, Susan Marshall; former wife, Karol O'Rear; grandchildren, Cohen O'Rear, Aidan Bristol, Lauren Tofell, Austin Tofell, Nathan Tofell and twins due July 4, 2014, Harper and Reese O'Rear.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norris O'Rear; and sister-in-law, Nancy O'Rear.

A memorial service will be held Fri., May 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Fuiten, Rose & Hoyt Funeral Home, 2308 Pacific Ave., Forest Grove, OR 97116.
