More detail on this person: Obit: William H. O'Dell - (28 Mar 1948 - 11 Sep 2017) - Bellevue William H. O'Dell, 69, of Bellevue, passed away from a service connected illness early Monday morning, September 11, 2017, at the Veterans Hospital, Wade Park Campus, Cleveland, Ohio. Born on March 28, 1948, in Norwalk, OH the son of Robert and Betty (Miller) O'Dell. He had served in the United States Army as a UH-1 helicopter pilot and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the Gladiators of the 2nd Platoon, 57th Assault Helicopter Company at FOB 2, Kontum, Vietnam from September 1968 - September 1969. He is survived by his wife Nannette (Nanny) Villarreal of Bellevue, son, John (Melita) O'Dell of Clovis, NM; daughter, Kelly (Jennifer Kearney) O'Dell of Sandusky; three brothers, Robert O'Dell of New London, Scott O'Dell of Norwalk and Paul Breitigan of Norwalk; nieces, nephews and other relatives; and his friend Dale Warren, fellow Gladiator. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cheryl (O'Dell) Breitigan. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to 57th AHC Reunion, P.O.
