More detail on this person: Camillo C O'Dorisio HAMPTON - Retired Lt. Col. Camillo C. O'Dorisio, 80, died Thursday, March 6, 1997, at Riverside Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Pueblo, Colo., and had lived in Hampton for 33 years. Lt. Col. O'Dorisio was a graduate of the University of Denver, from which he held a bachelor of science degree in economics, and earned his master's degree in public administration from Golden Gate University. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, in which he served and retired after 32 years of service. During his career in the Air Force, he served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. The Air Force awarded Lt. Col. O'Dorisio with many medals and commendations, including the Bronze Star in the Vietnam War. His family and friends will also remember his love for the game of golf. He was featured in the Daily Press for his involvement in golf and for his 11 holes-in-one. He is survived by his wife, Eula L. O'Dorisio of Hampton; son, Robert O'Dorisio of Denver, Colo.; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Chris O'Dorisio of Hampton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Franki and John Dahlgren of Newport News, Suzy and Alan Leybold of Hampton, Sarah and Helmuth Trieshmann of Newport News; brother, Ben O'Dorisio of Irvine, Calif.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Violet O'Dorisio of Denver, Colo., John and Nancy O'Dorisio of Golden, Colo.; sister and brother-in-law, Minnie and Bill Diss of Denver, Colo.; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 8, at 10 a.m. at Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. in the chapel. He was of the Catholic faith. The burial service will be held in Parklawn Memorial Park with full military honors. After the service, the family wishes those who can to join them at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Helmuth Trieshmann in Newport News. Contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Virginia, 5001 West Broad St., Richmond, Va. 23230.
