More detail on this person: Richard Oliver Funeral for Richard D. Oliver, who died Friday in Kenya, Africa, in a helicopter accident, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Willamette Lincoln Funeral Directors. Interment will follow in the Willamette National Cemetery. He was 37. Mr. Oliver, a Milwaukie resident, was serving as a missionary in Kenya. Born in Liberal, MO., he moved to Oregon in 1956 and graduated from Ashland High School. He then joined the Army and became a warrant officer. He also served in Vietnam for two years before returning to the Army, where he became a helicopter pilot. Mr. Oliver was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Lake Oswego.
