More detail on this person: Virginia Beach - Maj. John F. Otis Jr., passed away peacefully September 9, 2012. A retired Marine, He flew helicopters in the service and worked as a Probation and Parole officer after retirement. He is survived by his daughters; Jennifer Otis, Katie Parker, and Alison Vozza of Virginia Beach, ex wife; June Otis of Virginia Beach, sister; Virginia Sayre of Rockport, MA and grandchildren; Delaney, Robbie, Berlin, Reese, and Sonna. A private service will be held by the family.
