More detail on this person: James C. O'Connor went to CH-47 AQC at Hanchey AHP with me in late February, March and early April, 1971. He was assigned to a CH-47 unit in RVN, but with his previous tour as a OV-1/MOHAWK Aviator, he may have gone back to a FW Unit?? Anyway, if you find a unit for James C. O'Connor during 1971/72, be advised he passed away on October 26, 2009 in Plymouth, MN at the age of 65. He had retired as a Major and was a civilian test pilot for Honeywell and was the Engineer in charge of the Target sighting device on the Apache "GUNNER's" helmet. He was bitten by a Mosquito while doing a "fun run" and succumbed to Western Equine Encephalitis after almost a year in a coma.
