More detail on this person: Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - Sunday, May 6, 2007 FORT MYERS, Fla . - Wesley Dean Page was born in Urich, Mo., on Oct. 20, 1934, and died in Fort Myers on April 25, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Marga Rita Page; two daughters, Marilyn Suminski and Christa Piper; two sons, John D. Page and Eric Page; seven grandchildren, Joe Suminski, Toni Suminski, Chelsea Piper, Robert Piper, Madysen Piper, Erica Page and Eric Page Jr. Wes served in the U.S. Army for 30 years and retired as a chief warrant officer four. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam. Wes was awarded several decorations, medals, badges, citations and campaign ribbons, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, during his years of service. He was very involved with the Disabled American Veterans. He served in various capacities at Chapter 46 and served as the state commander for the North Carolina Chapter of the DAV for one term. He loved to travel and often visited family and friends all over the United States and Germany. Wes moved to Florida in 2003 after living in North Carolina for 28 years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 1201 Hope Mills Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304; or to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908. Service for the Faithful Departed will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2007, at Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Burial will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007.
