More detail on this person: Jack Willard Parks StarNews (Wilmington, NC) - Sunday, February 8, 2009 JACK WILLARD PARKS III Jack Willard Parks III, 59, of Fayetteville passed away February 6, 2009. Mr. Parks was retired from the U.S. Army where he served in Vietnam, he was also the owner of Jack Parks Homes. His greatest love was the Boy Scouts where he was a scout master, he also helped mentor the boys to the rank of Eagle Scout. Mr. Parks also had a great love for the outdoors. Survivors include his wife Melodie Parks of Fayetteville, son Jack Willard & Michelle Parks IV of Senoia, daughter Kristin Parks of Greenville, SC, and son Erik Parks of Newnan, grandchildren Jack, Andrew, and Colin Parks, sisters Donna Riggs and Cassandra Hazen, and also nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, February 9, 2009 at Camp Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday 2-6 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America Flint River Counsel
