More detail on this person: US Navy LT Willis Winslow "Bill" Pressey served as a UH-1B Helicopter Pilot in Vietnam with helicopter Combat Support Squadron 1 (HC-1) Det 21 in Sep 1966 to Feb 1967, which then became Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three, HA(L)-3 Seawolves, Det 4 until he left in Nov 1967. LT Pressey was awarded 2 Distinguished Flying Crosses (Combat V), one from the Army (Unit 05144?) and one from HA(L)-3; Individual Action Air Medal; 31 Strike/Flight Air Medals; Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal w/Combat V; Combat Action Ribbon; Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross (w/Silver Star Individual Citation); 2 Presidential Unit Citations (HC-1/HAL(L)-3); and Navy Unit Commendation (HC-1 Det 21). Bill Pressey was Seawolf Association LIFE Member and Vice President 2006-2008, and President 2008-2010. LT Pressey passed away 6/26/2019.
