Phillips Obituaries Fayetteville Observer, The (NC) - Thursday, November 13, 2003 George William ''Bill'' Phillips, 65, of 6987 Rockfish Road, Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003. Mr. Phillips was an Army veteran. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Crumpler Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Raeford. Burial will be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Virginia B. Phillips of Fayetteville; two sons, James R. Sinclair and Reuben H. Sinclair, both of Fayetteville; three daughters, Rachael M. Odom and Beverly W. Blalock, both of Fayetteville, and Amy M. Diaz of Madera, Calif.; a brother, Forrest Phillips of Forsyth, Ga.; four sisters, Joyce Martin of Manchester, Tenn., Paulette Hollis of Smyrna, Tenn., Doris Ivey of Grovetown, Ga., and Linda Murphy of Winterhaven, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
