More detail on this person: Charles E. Pettit Sr. Bucks County Courier Times Charles E. Pettit Sr., age 79, of Fairless Hills, passed away on November 10, 2007. He served proudly in the U.S. Army, receiving many awards and decorations for his service. Charles was a very giving person, but most of all he loved his family and would do anything for them. Charles is predeceased by his late wife Clara and is survived by his soul-mate Hertha Adelman; his children Brian and his wife Renee, Charles Jr. and his wife Sharon, Eric and Kimberly; Hertha's children Hertha, Heidi, and Rowland; and his grandchildren Brian Jr., Christopher, Eric Jr., Britney, Samantha, Matthew, George, Jacob, Paul, Ava, Paige, Riley, and Jacey. He is also survived by his brothers Buddy L. Pettit and his wife Pat, Barry Pettit and his wife Joyce, and Dennis Pettit and his wife Lynda. Relatives and friends are invited to Charles' Life Celebration on Thursday, 9 a.m.-12 noon, at Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, 19055, followed by a 12 noon service at the church. Interment is at Emilie United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Charles' name to the church at the address given above. Arrangements by Beck-Givnish of Levittown.
