More detail on this person: Fred W Pierce Jr, 80 Fred W. Pierce Olympian, The (WA) - Sunday, May 5, 2013 Fred W Pierce, Jr. On Friday 4-26-2013 at his Lacey Home, from cancer, Fred W. Pierce, 80, went peacefully to be with the Lord he loved. He was born 10-8-1932 to Fred and Mary Pierce in Saginaw, MI. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Lisa Huber (Brian), Puyallup, grandson, Ryan Huber, Lisa (Ken) Kraynak and great-grandson Logan; daughter-in-law, Marlise Pierce and grandchildren Karina and Robin Pierce, Germany; brother, Bill Pierce(Ellen), Rio Vista, CA; nephew, Warren Pierce (Zahra), CA. Their son, Fred Pierce III, died at the age of 46 while living in Germany with his family. Memorial services will be held Saturday May 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at the Lacey Chapel 6646 Pacific Ave SE Lacey, WA. Inurnment will be held 5-17, 11:15 am Tahoma national Cemetery.
