More detail on this person: Warrant Officer Waldo Hunter Price, 73 OBIT - PRICE, WALDO HUNTER Roanoke Times, The (VA) - Thursday, March 6, 2008 Warrant Officer Waldo Hunter Price, United States Army Ret., 73, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. He was retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years of service, having served in the Korean Conflict and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War, receiving two Purple Hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo and Faye Price, and is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lucy E. Price; stepdaughter, Karen Beasley and her husband, Daniel; three sisters, Mary Ann Leonard, of Kingsport, Tenn., Charlotte Frye East and Sarah Price, both of Galax; and three stepgrandchildren, Daniel Beasley and his wife, Rachel, Jennifer Burch and her husband, John, and Nathan Beasley and his wife, Katie. Honoring Hunter's wishes, there will be no service.
